It’s another awesome Wednesday and our woman crush for today is Judith Audu Foght. One thing that makes her different from others in her field, is her multifaceted feature which allows her get involved in different types of creativity works and still deliver outstanding outcomes.
Judith, a Nigerian Film And Television Actress, Presenter, Model, Blogger, Movie Producer, and Director is one true icon that should be emulated in the Media industry
Born in Lagos, Nigeria to a Naval Officer and an Entrepreneur, Judith is the second child of her parents and only daughter, with two brothers. She obtained a B.A in French and a degree in Masters of Public and International Affairs (MPIA) from the University of Lagos.
While at the University, Judith joined a Theater Group, the Campus Playhouse where she developed and mastered her acting skills, before she got her first acting job in 2004 during one of her school breaks. After getting her Masters’ Degree in 2011, Judith attended an audition for a role in the television drama, Tinsel and got the role of a gynecologist, she has since been part of several Television Series like Emerald, Seekers, Burning Spears, Tinsel, Huzzel, 4 Walls, Comfort Zone, Rush, Funtime, Life is Beautiful, Case File, and House Apart.
Judith Audu got married to Morten Foght on July 1, 2011. In 2014, Judith produced her first film, “Not Right”, a short film on domestic violence, which has earned her several nominations, including a AMVCAs nomination. She has since produced movies like Obsession, Stormy hearts , Just Before I Do among others. Judith began airing a radio show on a popular online radio station; Igroove Radio titled “Meet the Actor With Judith Audu”, where she interviews actors from different parts of the world. Her other movies include ‘Not Right,’ Alpha Mom,’ ‘Shijuwomi,’ ‘Paranoia’ among others.
In 2017, Audu Judith became the first Nigerian to be featured on a Poland Television Programme “Women at the End of the World”. In January 2018, she made her directorial debut with a short film titled ‘ Mirabel’ and presently directing Like Dominoes.
