African indigenous companies are already thriving in the automobile industry prior to when the only cars driven in Africa are foreign ones, now we have proudly made in Africa vehicles for African roads like Mobius Motors.
The Kenya automobile company which was founded by Joel Jackson in 2010 is welcomed by people both at home and abroad. The company is not lacking in investors, they have lots of happy investors within Kenyan, Africa and from foreign countries like US billionaire Ronald Lauder through his New York headquarter, Pan-African Investment Co.
Mobius Motors is an indigenous Kenyan automobile company. It started vehicle production with a rather less exquisite but durable model with wide acceptance from the Kenyan Government and people around Africa and beyond.
Mobius Motors is ready to take over the African market with its mass market vehicle that is specially crafted to give comfort and function properly in bad roads which is the situation in some parts of Africa.
One of the happy investors, Darshan Chandaria expressed his thoughts about the company “It’s an opportunity for us to own a cost-effective, reliable and functional vehicle which will definitely enable them to run their businesses more efficiently.
In rural Kenya today we are using second hand imported vehicles that are not suited to the poor road conditions. We are custom building a vehicle to suit the Kenyan road conditions.”
