Temiloluwa Balogun, the CEO of Dawnjuice, a fast rising organic fruit juice and smoothies company in Nigeria is ready to disrupt the beverage industry with her brand.

Mrs Balogun is one of such people who look beyond what they studied in school. Despite obtaining a degree in Microbiology from Olabisi Onabanjo University, she is a certified air hostess and she runs a beauty and lifestyle outfit called MO’s Crib ventures along her juice business.

What attracted us to her story was the uniqueness of her brand which is committed to redefining the beverage industry in the country.

From her, we learnt that most beverage purchased in fast food joints have side effects on the health of those who consume them. This is exactly what prompted her juice company to engage in healthy drinks that have significant benefits.

As an advocate for healthy living, she has proven the mantra that “charity begins from home” right as she engages in carefully creating recipes to meet her family’s needs.

She attributes the source of her motivation to be her husband who has a strict routine of healthy eating habit. She says she makes healthy juice for her husband daily and this has encouraged her to continue providing same for her clientele.

Although she confesses about the challenges of running a healthy beverage company. Chief of which is the epileptic electricity supply but she thanks God this challenge has been addressed by embracing solar power.

She also mentioned that customers also pose as a challenge sometimes as some prefer to get a drink of N100 or N200 compared to a healthy one that will benefit them which ranges from N500 to N600.

Mrs Balogun says that there is a need to increase awareness of healthy living in the country as this is one vital part of education for reducing mortality rate in the country.

Her future plans entails having various outlets in every state in the country so as to raise awareness of healthy living lifestyle.

We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
