Racheal Igoh Is Nigeria’s First Female Air Borne Qualified Regular Officer

Rachel Igoh recently placed a stamp in history by becoming the First female Air borne qualified regular officer in Nigeria.

We can’t help but give a round of applause to the young lady who not only set a new record in Nigeria but have also become a trail blazer, posing as a source of inspiration and a challenge to young minds to strive harder in their various fields.

Racheal Igoh, a native of Rivers state has created a landmark for herself, having passed through four years of rigorous military training and coming out with blazing colours in the extra year spent in the flying training school.

Despite how difficult the military school was, to both men and women, she managed to remove the barrier placed on her sex by proving that success and good moral standing is only achieved through sheer will and undiluted determination.

Racheal clinched this prestigious title during the passing out parade of the Nigerian Defence academy held this month, taking a step into rewriting Nigeria’s history.

Nigerians have termed her a ‘trail blazer’ and others ‘a born Star. We hope to hear greater achievements from her as she begins her journey towards excellence.
