Professor Olufunmilayo Is Set To Change Nigeria In 2019 As A President

The year 2019 will most likely be another year of limitless boundaries breaking for women in men dominated areas.

A female Nigerian professor of Language and communication arts at the Rivers State University of Education, Professor Olufunmilayo Adesanya-Davies has just declared her intention to run for the Nigerian presidential election in 2019.

Professor Adesanya-Davies made known her intentions on Tuesday, 2nd of January in her speech to journalist in illorin, Kwara state.

We will recall that in 2015, a female presidential candidate identified as Prof. Remi Sonaya, a lecturer in Obafemi Awolowo University also came out to contest for this prestigious position. Now it seems like history is about to repeat it self.

Undeterred by first failed attempt by Professor Remi in 2015 to be former president Jonathan’s running mate, Adesanya-Davies is fully prepared to run, although her party remains undisclosed.

Inspired by the free nomination sale / presidential form for women, the power woman is taking full advantage of this opportunity, stating that the free sale gave her the needed hope and boosted her interest.

“our first thanks will go to the nation that says the ladies could pick nomination forms at every level. Nigeria is confident that the current challenges in the country can be tackled by women” she said.

In her speech, she went further to state ” I am aspiring to be the next president of Nigeria. I am out to put laughter and Joy in the mouth of all Nigerians. We are still keeping the party which we will be coming in under wraps and would announce that in our next press conference. We are just making an open declaration that this is an aspirant that would be coming out from the 2019 presidential election”.

Sarah Jubril former presidential candidate coincidentally from kwara state in her delight at the news said.
“if a miracle like this will ever happen, we have paid the price in Kwara state and it is going to happen in the state “.

Keep Going Professor Olufunmilayo Adesanya-Davies! We Appreciate Your Courage
