Priscilla Eleje Rewrites CBN History , Becomes First Female To Have Her Signature On 1000 Naira Note

History has been made with Priscilla Ekwere Eleje becoming the first female Director of Currency Operations at Central Bank of Nigeria whose signature is appended on the Nigeria’s 1000 Naira note.

Mrs Priscilla Ekwere has also recently been confirmed as CBN’s substantive director.

Photos of the newly printed 1000 Naira note surfaced online, yesterday, showing Eleje’s signature on it.

Priscilla Ekwere Eleje studied psychology at the University of Jos. She is a certified Information System Auditor and a Banking and Management alumni of the distinguished Herbert H. Humphrey Fellowship programme in Massachusetts, USA.
