The victorious Nigerian basket team D’Tigress,that we celebrated yesterday, presented the championship Trophy they won at the just concluded Afro Basket ball tournament to Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari today.
The D’Tigress, Nigeria Senior Women’s Basketball team met with President Buhari today, Wednesday, August 30 as they celebrated their 2017 Afrobasket win.

Sam Vincent’s team defeated Senegal 65 – 48 in the final played on Sunday, August 27 and qualified for the World Championships in doing so.
The team presented the championship Trophy they won to the president who revealed he was at the success of the young women.
The president instructed that a million Naira be awarded to each member of the victorious team.
We celebrate them all!
