NYSC Corps Member Recounts Doing Menial Job To Fund His Schooling

Currently trending on the internet is a young Nigerian man who is inspiring and motivating other people to strive hard to achieve their dreams and goals. The young man, in his own case, completed his university education despite his financial status.

Aliyu Abbani is a graduate of Nassarawa State University and is currently undergoing his mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme. In a bid to ensure he finished his university studies at Nassarawa State University despite his less-than-desirable financial state, he summoned courage and took up the menial job of pushing a wheelbarrow to sponsor his education. He is spotted proudly wearing his NYSC uniform.

Abbani says “he is determined to continue with his menial job until something better comes his way. I am not a lazy man. I will always keep myself busy doing one thing or the other. If a better job comes, that is good and if it doesn’t, I’ll continue my current work.”

It is worth appreciating him for staying resilient and inspiring others with his story. Espact wishes him well.
