Nigeria’s Ola Debayo-Doherty Becomes Mandilas Group’s First African CEO

Nigerians never cease to prove that they have strong record breaking zeal with them, one of such individuals is Ola Debayo-Doherty who recently got appointed as the cheief executive officer of Mandilas Group of Companies making her the first African CEO since the Group’s over 70 years history in Nigeria.

The leading and one of the longest thriving business conglomerates in the country, recently made the announcement at its corporate headquarters, Lagos Island, Business Day reports.

Debayo-Doherty joined the Mandilas Group from IBILE Oil and Gas Corporation where she
was the pioneer managing director/CEO. Prior to this role, she was at Shell Petroleum
Development Company of Nigeria Limited, Shell International, United Kingdom and Arthur
Anderson where she served in Finance, Management Consulting, Strategic Business
Development and Project/Process Management functions at senior and management levels
in and outside Nigeria.

Mandilas Group is a foremost dealer of Toyota vehicles and the sole franchisee of the Carrier
home and industrial air-conditioners brandin Nigeria.
