25 year old Nigerian singer, Davido Adeleke popularly known as Davido has been listed among the performers for the 2018 ‘Made in America’ festival.
‘Made in America’ Festival is an annual music festival known for its diverse line-up of artiste who dominate the genre of Hip-hop, Rock, Pop, R&B, Latin, Electronic among others.
The festival, founded by Jay Z, has been held for seven years held in Philadelphia and formerly held in Los Angeles and the concert has been scheduled for Sept 1 to Sept 2 at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, U.S. Davido took to his instagram page to announce this great feat.
The Nigerian pop star is listed alongside a powerful line up that features some of the world’s elite artistes which include Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, Post Malone, Diplo, Fat joe as the headliners at the two days festivals.
Also performing is 21 year old Nigerian-Canadian artist, Odie, a producer and singer who infuses his Nigerian roots into hip-hop and R&B and afro-Latina singer, Amara La Negra, Janelle Monae, Ty Dolla Sign, Rich the Kid and Miguel.
Last year, Tiwa Savage and Maleek Berry graced the stage at the festival while Wizkid, who was part of the line up failed to perform at the event as he was absent.
Davido has also been nominated for “Best International Act” at the 2018 BET Awards. Davido who had a successful 2017 has already promise to topple the record of his performance this year as he took to his Instagram page to gush over his achievement.
