Linda Ikeji, successful 37-year old celebrity blogger has finally launched her much awaited television service, Linda Ikeji Television (LITV), an entertainment and lifestyle channel on DSTV and Online.
Her television station is set to be the first service to bypass Broadcast Channels, Satellite TV and Telecommunication platforms to reach the audience directly. She launched the streaming platform of the television arm of her media brand which comprises of seven categories: Continue Watching, Trending, Reality Shows, TV Series, Movies and Recently Added.
After 11 years of ruling the blogosphere as Africa’s number one, Linda announced her interest to diversify in 2016 to start a Television Station which has been in process since then. LITV is now an application on mobile phones which can be streamed online just like Funke Akindele’s SceneOne TV, Njoku IROKOTV, RED TV, IBAKA TV and the likes. And just like those TV, Subscriptions to them are required at the cost of 1000 naira for a month, #3000 for three months and #5500 for six months and #10000 for a year.

Apart from LITV, Linda Ikeji Media Brand has a social networking platform, Linda Ikeji Social (LIS) which had about 86,000 signups in six days when it was launched in 2016, a music arm called Linda Ikeji Music and an online radio, Linda Ikeji Radio. It seems the popular blogger isn’t relenting in her bid to become Africa’s biggest media entrepreneur.
LITV has already featured reality shows like ‘King Tonto’, ‘Toyin Abraham’, ‘True & Bare’, ‘Ice Prince’, ‘Rise & Grind’, ‘Oyinbo Wives of Lagos’, ‘GIdi Girls’, ‘Magodo Mums and their Single Friends’, ‘Annabel: My Life as a Former Stripper’, ‘Highway Girls of Eko’, ‘Ajekunle with Love’ and ‘Real Naija Ladies of Dallas’.
It has also hosted some other TV shows such as ‘Verified’, ‘Double Trouble’, and ‘Life Session with Betty Irabor’, ‘Crime Story’, ‘Black Room’ and ‘I Survived’. LITV also airs some movies and series from Ghana, South Africa and USA.
