The Entrepreneurship driven school which is due to open in Vierzon, France in 2018 is offering scholarships to its Bachelor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation programme. The school also aims to support promising entrepreneurs from around the world, by building their entrepreneurship skills and helping them to develop their business ventures.
The Bachelor course is modelled on entrepreneurship courses taught at US-based MIT, with the school’s faculty members all alumni of MIT and Harvard.
There is limited number of scholarships in offering to African students wishing to join the programme, with US$24,000 in tuition fees to be waived for those selected. The scholarships will not cover accommodation and living costs.
According to Djamila Youcef-Khodja, director of Solve Business School, “Africa is facing many challenges but is at the same time the land of opportunities. The Solve Business School wants to help raise an elite of African entrepreneurs by providing them with the best teachings, opportunities and bootcamps.”
Throughout the programme, MIT-certified mentors will teach students to connect with the most relevant resources, and students will be given the opportunity to interact with international speakers and successful chief executive officers (CEOs).
Students will be involved in international events, with a focus on familiarising them with the local startups environment.
