Uzoamaka Igweike, the founder and chief government officer of Loom Craft Chocolate in Abuja is changing the face of the Nigerian chocolate industry.
She decided to transform the Industry because chocolate present in malls and shops in Nigeria which is Africa’s largest economic system is principally imported and it is stressful to get good high quality chocolate in shops because there are no sufficient chocolate producer in the country.

As a home baker, Uzoamaka began to make research for tips on how to make chocolate then she started the production in her residence.
Uzoamaka Igweike arrange Loom Craft Chocolate when she was making larger high quality chocolate than the imported chocolate that flooded the grocery stores and shops.

Although making Nigerian chocolate requires energy and there are also challenges of insecurity which is a serious problem for Uzoamaka enterprise because it limits journey of entering into the cocoa farms but she was not discouraged because of her love for Nigerian chocolate.
The Anambra State indigene was impressed to arrange Loom Chocolate in 2020 because of the issue of getting good high quality sweets available in the market.

Our chocolate can complete in any place on this planet and the transformation of Nigeria’s chocolate industry has led to extra manufacturers of sweets and chocolate available in the market.
