Meet Lebohang Monyatsi, Africa’s First ‘WheelChair ’ Model

This is an inspiring story of a South African lady, Lebohang Monyatsi whose zeal has broken the protocols of the modeling world. Here story reaffirms to you and I once again that IMPOSSIBILITY IS NOTHING.

Read the excerpt from her story below:

Lebohang Monyatsi, is the first South African lady in a wheelchair to be on the runway. When we consider inclusivity, race, sex, and sexuality are what naturally spring to mind, however individuals with incapacities are once in a while ever mulled over.
Nowadays, there is a move in that worldview, on account of associations like The Only One Foundation. This establishment bolsters undertakings such as Miss Wheelchair World, which Lebohang is set to represent South Africa in this year.
Lebohang Monyatsi
The beauty queen holds a degree in Social Psychology and is currently studying for a second degree in Communication Science. She was also a nalist in the pageant Face Of The Globe, and was the only nalist with a disability. Miss Wheelchair World as a platform aims to change the perception of women with disabilities, create the opportunity for better integration, break barriers, and most of all to show that a disability is not a limitation. Lebohang encompasses most of these things, and we are looking forward to seeing how well she will perform in this upcoming pageant!

In whatever position you find yourself , stay positive, figure out things you can do, work hard and believe that a brighter future awaits you.
