Meet Jessica Anuna, Nigerian Woman Easing International Transactions With Her Company, Klasha

Jessica Anuna, a 29-year-old entrepreneur, is the Founder and CEO of Klasha, a technology company that builds software for African commerce. Headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria and San Francisco, USA and backed by Techstars, Klasha is the result of Anuna’s lifetime of accomplishments. With a background working for top online businesses like Net-A-Porter and Amazon, as well as founding two of her own, Anuna also found time to become proficient in Mandarin Chinese.

Growing up in London with Nigerian heritage, she studied Chinese language and culture at Imperial College London and King’s College London before moving to Shanghai to continue her studies at Jiao Tong University. Recognizing the economic growth and opportunities in China, Anuna decided to stay in China and start her second company, RestockChina, which exports FMCG goods to wholesale distributors in the UK and US. She spent three years in China, residing in Shanghai while working in Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Klasha’s aim is to make cross-border commerce in Africa easy and efficient.

They provide merchants with the ability to sell online to Africa, accept payments in local African currencies, and offer fast delivery to customers across the continent.
