Meet Janet Jumbo, First Nigerian Model To Walk For Louis Vuitton

No day passes by without Africans proving to be a rare breed of talents and ingenuity, the latest discovery was that of Janet Jumbo, a 16-year old Nigerian model who walks for the luxury fashion brand, Louis Vuitton.

Janet hailed from River State in Southern Nigeria but lived with his parents in the industrial hub of Nigeria, Lagos.

Janet was discovered by Raw Model Management boss, Raphael, while she was returning from Church on a fateful Sunday and this marked the beginning of her glorious journey into the modeling world in her teens.

Within the little time she was scouted, she has become a reputable person in the industry and she has travelled to countries such as England and France, She has gained entry into the same network that branded prominent and world-class models and fashion icons such as Kate Moss, Alek Wek, Gisele Bündchen, Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss, Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel,
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Chanel Iman, Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid, Jon Kortejarena among others.

Having broken a record of being the first Nigerian Model to walk for international fashion luxury brand Louis Vuitton at the very tender age of 16, Janet Jumbo is not only a smart teen but also a promising and fast-rising fashion icon and pride to Nigeria and Africa at large.
