Meet Ifeyinwa Walker, US-based Nigerian Entrepreneur Increasing International Brands’ Talent Networks

Sitting on Forbes’ 2019 list of female black women making great impacts across the globe with their skills is Ifeyinwa (“Ify”) Offor Walker, the Founder, and CEO of Offor and we happy to celebrate her at Espact.

Born to her Nigerian Parents, Caroline & Sylvester Offor, who are immigrants in the United States, Ifeyinwa through her company Offor has helped redesign, diversify and expand executive talent networks for organizations such as One Goal, Educators for Excellence, Teaching Trust, Teach For America and Beyond 12 for nearly a decade.

Prior to launching  Offor, Ify led Teach For America’s new site expansion — opening 8 new offices; raising $40M and placing over 1,000 new teachers. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In addition to all the amazing things she does, Ify also writes and she is the author of the viral #DearBlackWomen series on LinkedIn and has been featured in Fast Company, Stanford Social Innovation Review, and O Magazine.

In an interview with La Piana consulting, she made it known that her mum is her biggest inspiration in dealing with leadership challenges. In her words “I ask myself what my mom would do in moments of leadership challenges. Thinking about what my mom would do inspires and guides me.”
