Meet Ekomobong Finbarr, who created solar powered tricycle as his final project

Welcome to Temmy Balogun’s blog, its a new month and we are opening it with our spotlight on an amazing Nigerian student who created an oustanding tricycle for his final year project.

Ekomobong Finbarr is a final year student of Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He recently made and presented a solar powered tricycle for his final year project along side with his team.

In a Facebook post shared by his brother Aniekeme Finbarr, Ekomobong built this ubiquitous means of transportation that runs only on solar energy. ‘No engine, just battery and the solar system [sic] and can go 11km without blinking,’ he said.
