Nigerian Charles Bassey, a sophomore student at St. Anthony High School who migrated to the U.S circa 2015, is being regarded as one of the top recruits for the class of 2019.
Charles who didn’t touch a basketball before he was age 12, previously sold fried chicken by the roadside in Nigeria before his travel to the US.
The 6, 10′ basketball star was encouraged by a coach to give basketball a try while in Nigeria, and according to him, “Once I tried Basketball, I loved the game immediately and wanted to get better”.
