Young Nigerian Genius Oluwatunmise Idowu in 2016, solved 17 mathematical questions correctly in 60 seconds, on the Cowbellpedia TV quiz show, an impressive feat that earned her the nickname, ‘Electric Brain’.
At 13 Years Old Oluwatunmise sets the new record at the the 2016 Cowbellpedia Mathematics Television Quiz Show in one of the preliminary rounds.
According to a release issued by promoters of the competition, Idowu, the daughter of a Mathematics teacher, slugged it out in Group B with Ayomide Nafisat Abdulwaheed, a JSS 3 female student of Reality High School, Osogbo, Osun State; OlajideOsoba of Atlantic Hall, Epe, Lagos State; EdidiongOkon of Topfaith International Secondary School, Uyo, AkwaIbom State; Charles Adesoba of Petoa City College, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State; and Vanessa Ibol of NOWA Secondary School, New Kashi, Nassarawa State.
Miss Idowu is currently a student of Scholars Universal Secondary School, Ota, Ogun State.
There’s no doubt that the future is bright for the young girl who is not only brilliant but also great at thinking critically under pressure.
