Today we are crushing on a great man who has inspired lots of Nigerians and helped many build their dreams,not just through his actions but also his words. He is a true patriot of his country, Nigeria.

Oluwafeolami Durotoye, fondly called FD or Mr Nigeria, is a Corporate Activator, Nation Builder, Corporate Strategist, Business Consultant, Successful Entrepreneur and now a Nigerian Presidential Candidate. FD’s  goal is to grow and encourage successful business sectors in Nigeria.

Born in Ibadan, in the South-Western part of Nigeria on May 12, 1971, to Sisi Addy and Bros Toks. He received his primary education from Staff Children’s School and secondary education from Moremi High School.

While studying, Fela was a member of the Boys Scouts and also played at the school theater. He was also a soloist and played keyboards in the band for youth “The Midwaves.” The group was top-rated in the town at the time. Fela attended Obafemi Awolowo University where he obtained Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with Economics, Masters Degree in Business Administration (M.B.A) and Master of Philosophy Degree (M.Phil) in Strategic Management. Also a graduate of the Kennedy School of Government at the prestigious Harvard University (USA) where he founded “The Pool Bar”  which had a great success among the students and other people in the town.

He was once in charge of the Customer Service Management training and fallbacks in such institutions as Diamond Bank, Chartered Bank, and Societe Generale Bank of Nigeria. In 2015, Fela completed the Executive Seminar program on Strategy, Innovation & Governance with specific focus on Sustainability for NGOs and Corporate Organizations at the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS), Pan-Atlantic University, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. In the same year, he completed the supernumerary police training program at the Nigerian Police Training College situated in Ikeja, the Lagos State Capital and received the Distinguished Student Award at his graduation and passing out parade.

He has executed projects like Eden, Visible Impact, Gemstone 2025, Speaker’s Corner24/7, The Future Leader Program, Yes! and True Nigerian Project, Super Speaker, Fela has devoted his skills to his homeland, Nigeria. Helping Nigeria to develop strategies to improve the welfare of the country and its inhabitants, he has invested in organising the educational sector so it can operate at a world level. The most common of his project is GEMSTONE NATION 2025 established in 2012. The Gemstone Nation Builders Foundation’s aim is to inspire, empower, motivate, and uplift leaders from every level in the society. The Foundation creates a platform for encouraging and empowering Nigerians to have and chase their dreams and enable the country to be developed by the year 2025. The overall objective is building a strong and stable nation.

Today, Fela Durotoye occupies the post of the Chief Executive Officer in Visible Impact. It’s a social organization established to solve social and environmental problems and limitations. The goal is to create super-achievers and responsible leaders, organize corporate organizations into global leaders of the market, and responsible corporate citizens. Aside from this, the team helps the government to develop blueprints and programmes for creating a thriving environment for people to do great things.

His wife, Tara Fela-Durotoye, the brain behind the House of Tara International , unarguably Nigeria’s number one make-up artist house complements him as a power couple that is the toast of many Nigerian youths on social media. They have three boys: Mobolurin, Oluwademilade and Morolaoluwa.

In February 2018, Fela declared his intention to run in the 2019 Presidential general election under the party, Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), a party founded by Dr. Jay Osi Samuels, a Medical Doctor and Renowned Public Health Practitioner.

The party, according to Fela, is made up of Professionals and  technocrats with great political insight & wisdom that has the potential to reform the country. And since then, Nigerian youths have been rooting for this patriotic Nigerian who has given a lot to the country without asking for much to be returned.
