Man Crush Monday- TB #MCM Is Teju Babyface

Today, our man crush is a man whose focus, determination and mindfulness have guided him from his humble beginnings to the peak of his career.

His real name is Gbadewonuola Olateju Oyelakin, popularly known by his stage name as Teju Baby Face. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria and received his primary education at Corona School Apapa and secondary education at Federal Government College Ogbomoso, then proceeded to the University of Lagos where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Insurance. He started out his acting career with a lead role in the Tade Ogidan’s blockbuster movie, Diamond Ring in 1998.

Teju Babyface later found himself in the comedy business, a profession in which he made a pretty decent impact, having learnt from some of the best names like Basorge Tariah Jnr. and the king of Naija comedy, Ali Baba. Soon after, the hyperactive and extremely creative young man came up with the popular TV comedy show, Teju Baby Face Show and with it; he has made an impact with as he draws old and young both inside and outside the entertainment industry to his platform, making his show rank as one of the best entertaining shows on TV.

Teju Babyface is the founder and lead mentor at the Mentorship Foundation Africa (formerly known as the Teju Babyface Mentorship Academy). He is also a United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Ambassador for Nigeria with a focus on Decent Work & Economic Growth. He also runs a company called Visus Projects. In 2016, he published the book, Secrets of the Streets: 23 Secrets for Achieving Success with Talent which made massive impact on people.

Teju Babyface and his wife, Oluwatobiloba Oyelakin was blessed with a set of twins on April, 21st 2018 after six years of marriage.
