Chelsea’s Midfielder N’Golo Kante has just rounded up the year 2017 with an outstanding achievement by bagging the 2017 French player of the year award.
The 26 year old outstanding midfielder won the award on Tuesday, 26th of December, after winning the France football gong, beating out strong competitors, the likes of Paris saint-Germaine striker Mbappe, whom he led with five votes.
Undeterred by his background, the Mali born-france raised footballer has since been adding several accolades to his professional belt, through hard work and determination.
He emerged the first outfield player to win consecutive English titles from different clubs, which led to his being awarded the PFA player of the year and also the FWA player of the year awards.
Earlier in the year, he was also nominated for the Ballon D’or awards owing to his outstanding performance during the season, following his consecutive wins and ended up emerging eighth in the world, behind legendary footballer Christian Ronaldo.
Without allowing obvious stumbling block disturb him , he went further to clinch the Chelsea Player of the year award and now, has further proves his trait of excellence by bagging the French player of the year award.
