Talented Actress and Star of the Disney/Marvel superhero film Black Panther, Lupita Amondi Nyong’O was set to feature alongside Kristen Stewart to play two of the three Angels in Charlie’s Angels reboot on July 2, 2018 .
The original Charlie’s Angels TV series ran for five seasons between 1976 and 1981, starring Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith as the three Angels, with David Doyle portraying their handler Bosley and John Forsythe providing the voice of Charlie, who is never seen on the series.
The show followed these three crime-fighting “Angels” working cases provided to them by Charlie through their speakerphone. In 2000, the movie The film made $264M at the box office and was played in the cinemas throughout America, with actresses Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu playing the Angels, Bill Murray as Bosley and John Forsythe once again was voicing Charlie. The cast reunited for the 2003 sequel Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle with Bernie Mac stepped in as the new Bosley. The movie pulled in $259M worldwide.
