Ivory Coast’s Marie-José Talou wins silver in London

Ivorian athlete Marie-José Talou won silver in the 200m during the World Athletics Championships in London on Friday,August 12,2017.

Just like in the 100m with American sprinter, Tori Bowie, Talou lost gold to Dutch born Dafne Schiffer who retained the title during a thrilling race.

Her performance during the championship has positioned her as one of the biggest revelation of the event.

Kenyan athlete Beatrice Chepkoech was not fortunate enough to be on the podium of the 3000 metre steeplechase after she blundered during a turn.

Another Kenyan Hyvin Kiyeng Jepkemoi finally won bronze behind Americans Emma Coburn and Courtney Frerichs.
