How This Nigerian Woman Emerged Vice Chancellor in Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science And Technology, Ghana

A nigerian professor, Atinuke Adebanji has been elected as the Vice Chancellor in Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology (KNUST) which is the second biggest school in Ghana.

Professor Atinuke Adebanji has been the Head of the Statistics and Actuarial Science Department of the institution. She is an active lecturer and researcher in Statistics and Public Health.

She has PhD in Statistics and MPH (Reproductive and Public Health), with experience spanning over 17 years in Theoretical and Applied Statistics, Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Her research interests are Multivariate Data Analysis, Categorical Data Analysis and Development Statistics.

Professor Atinuke Adebanji has taught and mentored undergraduate and graduate students both inside and outside of Ghana because she had a qualified outstanding communication, classroom management and presentation skills.

Professor Atinuke Adebanji, the new VC has also played a major role in the organization; Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (WoSTEM).

With all this, she has been proven excellence as the new Vice Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science And Technology, Ghana.
