Black women around the world have been making waves in the tech industry and Sevetri Wilson is not excluded. The founder and CEO of Tech startup, Resilia, is making headlines once again as she raised a capital of $35 million in her Series B funding round.
Sevetri launched Resilia, a software as a service (SaaS) platform, in November 2016 with the aim to boost the capability of nonprofits. It was also aimed at helping grantors make impact through data-driven technology solutions.

The tech startup founder recently conveyed her capital-raising expertise to a Series B financing round. The $35 million raised from investors will push her company‘s expansion plans forward.
In 2020, Sevetri Wilson was able to raise $8 million in Resilia’s Series A round of funding, which was the highest venture capital raised by a woman-founded tech company in the state of Louisiana.

The Series B funding round was co-led by Panoramic Ventures and Framework Venture Partners, which also included participation from Mucker Capital, SoftBank Group’s SB Opportunity Fund, Goldman Sachs Asset Management Fund and Chloe Capital.
Resilia has raised nearly $50 million since its founding in 2016. The company currently has offices in New Orleans and New York City and has also gathered about 15,000 nonprofit client’s including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the United States Tennis Association Foundation (USTA), and Oxfam America.
Sevetri Wilson was recently listed among the Black Enterprise 40 under 40 honoree. She will be celebrated alongside other honorees by Black Enterprise at the 40 under 40 dinner, a private invite-only ceremony on Wednesday.
