Baking is a tradition in Jalen Bailey’s family. Bailey naturally loves baking and His mother, Sharhonda Mahan, is also a baker. When Bailey’s mother noticed his love for baking, she decided to pass on the skill to his son. Bailey’s mother inspired him about how entrepreneurs of his age make figures.
Bailey started baking when he was eight years old from his mother’s kitchen, Bailey makes cakes, cookies tarts and muffins with perfectly crisped edges. He’s very excited, because the more orders he gets, the more excited he gets and the more serious he gets about his business. He also want to raise money to buy a house for his mother.

Within a short period of time, he opened his bakery out of his mother’s kitchen in a small apartment in Fresno, California
Jalen’s mother helped him to register his business, this gave him the courage of advertising his business online and he has since shipped hundreds of cookies worldwide to put a smile on the faces of many.

Recently, Bailey was among the recipients of the maiden Central Valley Small Business Awards Breakfast of the Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce. At the event, Bailey was the youngest winner, and everyone present was proud of his success story.
