Dante Lee created an innovative platform which helps connect job seekers and employers in Canada’s largest city due to the lack of diverse and unlimited opportunities for black people in Toronto to be precised.
Dante Lee has been a leader in the diversity recruiting industry and he is now taking on Toronto, Canada’s largest city, with his latest venture.
He realised that the city is home to over 3 million diverse people and is the fourth largest in North America. The city’s strategic location makes it a global center for business, finance, arts, and culture and is consistently ranked one of the world’s most livable cities.
Dante Lee founded and launched “TorontoJobs.com”. He dedicated it to helping local employers connect with qualified diverse job candidates in the Greater Toronto area. Lee believes his latest project will be a game-changer and help the city to resolve its problem with diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and hiring.
Dante Lee made the platform free to use for both employers and job seekers and it features thousands of well-paying job opportunities.
There are many national recruiting websites like ZipRecruiter and LinkedIn, but the city of Toronto now has its very own local job board that caters to the locals.
For candidates applying for a job, the platform makes it easy as job seekers can easily upload their resume by logging in with their LinkedIn credentials.
After logging in, candidates who see a job opportunity that interests them will simply click on “Apply to this job” and the rest is automatic. Lee added that there are hundreds of new jobs being added to the site every single day.
HR executives and recruiters can also log in using their company’s LinkedIn credentials and instantly post jobs because there are thousands of businesses that are based in and around the city of Toronto including many large Canadian and international corporations.
Toronto Employment Survey says that there are more than 1.5 million jobs in various fields including technology, design, financial services, life sciences, education, arts, fashion, aerospace, environmental innovation, food services, and tourism.
Dante Lee mentioned that his goal at TorontoJobs.com is to help employers successfully and affordably achieve their recruiting goals in the easiest and fastest way possible.
