UK based Ghanaian Entrepreneur, TV Presenter, Producer and Singer Dentaa Amoateng MBE, the CEO and Founder of GUBA Enterprise has been named as one of the “Top 50 African & Afro-Caribbean Leaders in the UK 2018” by the influential African Leadership Magazine.
The African Leadership magazine focuses on recognizing the best of Africa to a more globalized audience, showing them African stories from African point of view and also procuring solutions to the challenges facing the African continent.
Dentaa who moved to UK from Ghana when she was five has been deeply involved in advocacy for the Ghanaian community. Dentaa studied Paediatric Nursing at the Buckinghamshire New University.
In 2005, she released her gospel album and went on to build her acting and presenting career, Though popularly known for her presenting skills especially her hit TV Programme “The Dentaa Show”, Dentaa was awarded a Member of the Most Excellent Order of British Empire in Her Majesty The Queen’s 2016 Birthday Honours for her services to the UK and African Diaspora Relations.
She was recognized because of her contribution to socio-economic development and leadership influence in the African and Afro-Caribbean community in the United Kingdom. Her company, GUBA was also part of the modalities for her recognition as GUBA Enterprise is breaking grounds in unifying the African community in the UK, supporting of charitable ventures and providing a platform for African and British businesses to grow and diversify.
