Ghana’s capital Accra was the center of art tourism last weekend as visual artists displayed their talents and products on the streets of James Town during the annual Chale Wote Street Art Festival.

The seventh edition of the street art festival featured works and installations of over 30 artists from Ghana and artists from South Africa, Zambia, Nigeria, U.S.A, Lesotho, France, Australia, Kenya, Canada, Kenya, Poland, Argentina, UK, Germany and Brazil.
The week-long festival attracted thousands of art and selfie lovers who watched, admired, applauded and took pictures of the artworks and displays.

There were also music and dance performances in the streets including film screenings, workshops and art exhibitions at 10 different locations in the capital.
The organisers, ACCRA [dot] ALT chose the theme WATA MATA (pidgin for Water Matter) to highlight the human capacity of evolving beyond limitations.
This infinite capacity of artists brought forth unthinkable art, installations, rappers, poets, boxers, fashionistas, musicians and many more.
