Ghanaian ICT Teacher Who Went Viral For Drawing Microsoft Gets First Computer Donation

The saying what is worth doing at all is worth well, was demonstrated by Owura Kwadwo Hottish, a Ghanaian ICT teacher while he teaching his students few weeks back, the picture of him drawing microsoft word page went viral and gave him national and international recognition , now he recently received a laptop from an international university to enable him teach better.

In a post made on his Facebook page, the now very popular teacher shared photos of his new laptop.

He was seen in a group photo with some of his students who could not hide their joy after receiving their very first learning material.

The proud teacher captioned his post, “The staff and students of Betenase M/A JHS wishes to say a very big thank you to AMIRAH ALHARTHI, university of Leeds for donating a laptop to the school to enhance the teaching and learning of ICT.”

Lots of promises to support the ICT teacher have been made by lots of concerned individuals across the globe,Microsoft also promised to send him computers , before the.arrival of other promised items, the laptop that has been received would go a long way to enhance the teaching and learning of ICT in the school.

Owura Kwadwo, who teaches ICT at the Betenase M/A JHS warmed millions of hearts around the world when a photo of him went viral on social media.

He was teaching Microsoft office without a computer but used his ingenuity to sketch out the screen onto a blackboard to make his students have a feel of a ‘non-existent’ computer.

He said his inspiration came chiefly from the fact that his students were going to sit for the same examinations as other students who studied with computers and he had to do what he could to help his students.
