Oyindamola Joseph, is the founder and Head Chocolatier at ChocolateWorks Gourmet, a brand which started due to Oyindamola’s tenacity to be the best at her craft.
The Chocolate Works Gourmet is a purely refined and luxury chocolate business. The products are carefully crafted and handpicked while sourcing the best ingredients globally to satisfy the Nigerian palate.
Before starting CWG, Oyin worked as a procurement professional. She has 10 years of experience working in strategic sourcing, procurement and supply chain management in a variety of industries including manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, healthcare and charity organizations.
Upon embarking on starting Chocolate Works Gourmet, Oyindamola equipped herself with skills after training under world-class chocolatiers to learn and master the art of chocolate making in European countries. She made a move back to Nigeria and founded CWG in 2019.
With her background knowledge in procurement, Oyin sources only the highest quality chocolate for all CWG products. She is a chartered procurement professional (MCIPS), holding the highest level procurement designation from the internationally recognized organization CIPS.
Oyindamola’s education includes a Masters in Economics, Finance and Development from the University of Surrey, UK, a BSc. in Economics and Banking from the University of Greenwich, UK and a Certificate in Negotiation and Leadership from Harvard Law School Boston, Massachusetts.
She is creative and very entrepreneurial at heart. Her chocolate works has shown exquisite designs and unique twists to regular chocolate bars in the Nigerian market. She has developed over 10 recipes and has been making waves with her premium luxury chocolate.
