Esther Ijewere Listed Among Top 51 Most Influential Under 40 Nigerian Female Writers

Esther Ijewere, the founder of Rubies Ink initiative recently emerged one of Woman.NG’s 51 most influential Nigerian female writers under the age of 40.

Esther was recognized for her book ‘Breaking the silence ‘ which she wrote in 2013, and has one of the writers that have been impacting lives positively through their carefully picked words which together come out as outstanding write-ups.

Esther’s Rubies ink initiative,is an enterprise focused mainly on female related projects, such as women of rubies, walk against rape, project capable, rubies ink media amongst others.

Her book ‘breaking the silence ‘ for which she gained recognition is aimed at enlightening the nation about rape it’s effects and the stigma that the victims are faced with.

In her speech, she said ‘ years after, my book is still breaking record. Consistency pays, keep doing what you are good at and you will dine before kings.
