Egypt’s Mohamed Salah beats Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale To Win FIFA Puskas Award

As reported by goal.com,  based on Mohamed Salah’s goal in Liverpool’s Premier League against Everton, he has won the award for the best goal for the season.
In the league of contenders Against Mohamed Salah in the award category were two major football heavyweights – Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Egyptian footballer beat these two heavyweights for the Puskas 2018 Award for his strike against Everton last December.
The Puska award was established in 2009 for both male and female category. It was established to recognize and commend the best goals for seasons.

FIFA surprised many based on the notion that Gareth Bale deserved the award following his acrobatic overhead kick that gave his club team, Real Madrid a glorious win in last season’s  Champion’s League.

Cristiano Ronaldo also posed to be a formidable competition based on his ecstatic goal for his new club Juventus in April. This goal won the award for UEFA goal of the season.
