Brigette Hyacinth is a leadership expert and motivational speaker. She is the author of “The Edge of Leadership: A Leader’s Handbook for Success.” which is currently in the libraries of The University of the West Indies and other tertiary institutions while her other published works -“Purpose Driven Leadership: Building and Fostering Effective Teams” and ‘The Ultimate Leader: Learning, Leading and Leaving a Legacy of Hope”- have been featured in many papers and magazines.
She is the founder of MBA Caribbean Organisation, a firm she established in 2008, which specializes in seminars and workshops on leadership, management and education. In addition, she provides consultancy and training services to many prominent companies both in the private and government sector.
A native of Trinidad and Tobago, she is also a director in HAIT&T Foundation, whose main focus is the rebuilding of the La Madeleine Orphanage which was destroyed in the 2010 Haiti earthquake.
In recognition of her work and contributions, she has been selected to be part of the 2018 class of 100 under 40 most influential people of African descent (MIPAD). MIPAD is done in support of International Decade for People of African Descent, proclaimed by United Nation’s General Assembly resolution 68/237 and to be observed from 2015 to 2024.
It identifies high achievers of African descent in the public and private sector from all around the world as a progressive network of relevant actors to join together in the spirit of recognition, justice and development of Africa, it’s people on the continent and across it’s Diaspora.
An internationally acclaimed leadership guru with a master’s degree in business administration, Brigette is sought after by CEOs all over the world for her leadership insights. She has provided one on one coaching sessions to many top-level executives around the globe. Additionally, she is also a ghostwriter and some of her clientele have involved famous business leaders.
