On the fight for victory, alongside another young Nigerian Wizkid Olatunji, Akinola, the team’s defence was practically impenetrable against the forces of Manchester’s starlet Mathew Olosunde and newbie James Wilson, and won regardless, tipping the scales to his favor in the football world.
